The second problem of mail order home based businesses is that you'll lack the desire. Ask yourself, 'Do I really want to deal with a bunch of customers, sales issues, inventory management troubles, marketing, and the whole nine yards'? You probably don't.
The third problem of mail order home based businesses is that you'll lack of confidence. You will not be confident in the information you are selling and that will be one of your biggest problems.
The fourth problem of mail order home based businesses is that direct mail marketing involves high risk. It is expensive, difficult to test, and requires continuous management. It takes years of experience and multiple experiments to finally perfect the art and science of direct mail marketing. If you decide to use direct mail as your primary means of advertising to your target audience, you will discover that with a good piece of mail you can realistically generate a 1% to 2% response rate on a consistent basis.
