According to last findings, obesity occurs in mostly two types of people. They have habits and behavior that make fat accumulate in their tissues.

The first category is stressed people who eat very fast and in excess. Because of their eating speed they have no time to evaluate if they are still hungry or not. They eat and their meal is a kind of race. They will not stop eating until the plate is empty. The second category is household people who eat from boredom. This people eat because they have nothing else to do. And because they like to be busy from time to time, they eat more and more.

As you can see, the most common causes of obesity are overeating and less physical movement. The explanation is clear. Because of lock of physical activity, people cannot burn all fats they eat. As a result, the remaining amount of fat becomes part of their body, leading to overweight and obesity.

Most of the time, all above people think they can reduce weight by taking less food. But all hopes are confounded soon after they start dieting. In a natural effort to conserve energy and boost its survival chances, body starts to slow down and weight loss tends to slow dawn as well.

So the best method for reducing weight is to increase the physical activity level. At the same time people need a strong motivation in order to exert a mental control on amount of food they eat and correlate it with body necessities.
