Spring Cleaning Series: Skip the Lemons, Let Go of Losing

Author: Penni Wild

How would your life change overnight if you knew in your heart of hearts and deep in your soul that you were born to win? Consider for a moment that "losing" is a learned skill - cultivated before we even knew how to speak?

Imagine this split second decision: to live and walk in the soul of a winner everyday. What would change if this quality existed in your life everyday?

Losing is an insidious frequency that rides on top of the success that awaits us all. Worse, many of us don't even know this loser frequency or "I can never have it," or "not for me" permeates our lives.

Have you ever met someone who seems more animated and in some way embraces life more when things aren't going well or appear to be going downhill?

After he calls everyone in the gamblers anonymous meeting a "lemon," Al Pacino's living-the-big-life character, Walter, in a scene from "Two for the Money" charges: "The time I feel most alive is not when I'm winning - but when they're taking the chips away. And if we win, it's just a matter of time 'til we give it all away." He tells the group: "Gambling isn't the problem - it's this f*d up need to feel something - to convince yourself you exist."

At the end of the movie, Rene Russo, calls Walter on his crap - shouting, "You wanted to lose! Your fantasy is to end up alone with nothing!"

If your business isn't growing, money isn't flowing, relationships aren't smooth or health isn't optimal, maybe the signal is jammed by this "losers frequency" you didn't even know was there!

Stay tuned for the "Spring Cleaning series" article for ideas on how to attract a winners frequency without forcing an outcome.
