Veteran action actor, Sylvester Stallone reveals interesting facts behind the filming of Rocky IV. He admitted that he almost died while undergoing an action scene with his co-star, Dolph Lundgren. The actor revealed the story through a video entitled ‘The Making of Rocky vs Drago’ which he uploaded through his personal YouTube channel. “So, he hit my chest. At that time, I didn’t feel anything,” he said as quoted by the New York Post, Thursday (11/11/2021).

But at night, Stallone admitted, his heart began to swell and his blood pressure rose to 260 mmHg. After fainting, he admitted, he did not remember anything that happened that night. “When I woke up, it turned out that I was on a plane to California for intensive care. I stayed in the ICU for 4 days and returned to Canada to shoot the last scene of Rocky IV, he said again.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the release of Rocky IV 36 years ago, theaters in North America are re-released the film for one day only, on November 11, 2021. More than 500 items from the legendary film will also be auctioned in December.
